Welcome!
I was born on the 23rd January 1945 in Ioannina (Yannina), a town located in the north-west of Greece. The name of the town is synonymous with my name, and today Ioannina is a university town. It is a pretty town with a large lake and a small and very picturesque little island in it!
After my graduation in 1965, I worked on the island of Corfu from 1967 to 1978 during which time I met my English ex-wife Jill. We had two sons, Todd and Alexis, both of whom were born in
St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex in the United Kingdom. Todd was born on the 20th April 1974 and Alexis on the 8th April 1977.
Todd studied at Loughborough University, gained his PhD and now lives in California with his wife Joanna. They were married on the 10th August 2001 and have two sons, both born in Los Angeles. Alexander was born on the 29th June 2004 and Oliver on the 13th November 2005.
Alexis, my younger son, studied at Bournemouth University and now works in the City of London. On the 4th September 2004 he married Eleni and they live in North London.
I am very proud of my family, especially of my sons Alexis and Todd.
In October 1978 I left Corfu and moved to live permanently in the UK where I started my own holiday company. Since then I have been working in the travel industry.
I am now semi-retired but still enjoy planning, organising and selling holidays to Greece and other places in Europe. I also keep myself occupied by working on web design and learning new techniques and concepts. Most of all I love traveling, visiting new places and countries where I have not been before. There is so much to see on our planet!
